VIDEO: Brandon Bussi Lumberjacks Goalie on NCAA & USHL

December 19, 2018 Off By Rachel Anderson

The Muskegon Lumberjacks are 20-4-1 currently. Much of that success is due to the magic of goalie Brandon Bussi. In his first year in the USHL, Bussi has shown great skill and poise within the net. Brandon is now committed to Western Michigan University. Bussi holds a GAA 2.04 and SV% of 0.926 as of December 16, 2018. In 23 games, Bussi is 20-2-1.

Having new goalies, Ryan McInchak and Cullen DeYoung to the roster, alongside Keegan Karki, the future of Muskegon’s goaltending has yet to be determined. Committed to the Broncos and an overager, there is speculation Bussi would head to the NCAA within the season. For now, however, the Lumberjacks and Access Hockey MI are enjoying his stellar goaltending!

Hear from Bussi about his decision to de-commit to St. Lawrence, his first (and last) season in the USHL, and how his starting has affected his relationship with fellow tendy, Karki.
