Canadian born, James McIsaac, has had a storied career for only 19 years old. After an incredibly successful career in the WJHL, McIsaac was offered a deal to remain semi-pro in the Canadian league. Turning it down to have a better opportunity at an education, McIsaac joined the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL.

James understood that the USHL has a wider spectrum of colleges scouting the teams. McIsaac decided that an education was worth seeking. important to advancing his career as well as post-hockey plans.
